After you log in to Codatum, the global nav at the left edge of the screen takes you to the main features and settings. For the names of the screen regions, see Screen layout. The global nav is split into a top and bottom section, each with the following entry points.

• Top: Workspace switching and entry points to the main features
• Bottom: Entry points to workspace settings, help, and account settings

Global nav top

Item	Description
(workspace icon)	Lets you switch workspaces and perform other workspace-related actions
Notifications	A dot appears when you have unread notifications
Quick search	Search across notebooks, tables, queries, and more
AI agent	Goes to the AI agent's full-screen page (only when the AI agent feature is available)
Notebook	Goes to the notebook list
Query	Goes to the query list
Catalog	Goes to the catalog list
Workflow	Goes to the workflow list
Report	Goes to the report list

TIP

To get to Connections, open Workspace settings at the bottom of the global nav, then select Data management > Connections in the left sidebar.

The workspace icon at the top of the global nav lets you do the following.

Item	Description
(name of the current workspace)	Switches the workspace you're working in
Create workspace	Creates a new workspace
Browse all	Goes to the workspace selection screen. In addition to a list of the workspaces you belong to, you can join a workspace you've been invited to, or join a workspace through an allowed domain

Item	Description
AI Assistant	Opens the AI Assistant (only when the AI agent feature isn't available)
Workspace settings	Goes to the workspace settings for the workspace you're working in
Help	Chat support, Product updates, Feedback board, Docs, CLI Docs, Online support, System status
